16 Ft Sea Explorer- Excellent condition, well maintained. 

The hull was purchased new in 1996. (This is a 1991 boat show display model that was not sold until we bought  it in 1996)

 Honda 75HP 4 Stroke  (1998- 150 hrs) Duo batteries with 3-way switch and charging combiner. Wood trim in great shape. Stored in garage  Standard canvas like new.  New custom -windshield to transom- canvas. Dri-Dek flooring panels cover main floor. Kicker bracket.   Icom VHF Radio , Lowrance fish finder and speed sensor. Shorlander roller trailer- spare tire-bearing buddies- all new tires- excellent condition. New foam in seat cushions.

Arima boats are known for their comfort and sea worthiness.  Most people don't believe it when they discover that this is a 16 foot boat. This is due to its width which is 7'6".

Two people can sleep in the cuddy cabin. We used this boat to explore all over BC & WA  and have anchored overnight in remote coves many times.

We have taken this boat 30 miles off the coast of Vancouver Island and cruised the whirlpools and rapids of BCs inside passage. This boat has performed well in all weather and sea conditions. We usually carry a pretty heavy load of gear and tow a 10 foot dingy and with just a slight need for more RPM to maintain cruising speed.  Speed and fuel economy is important to us and this boat is just the right balance.

Cruising speed at 4200 RPM is between 25-29 MPH depending on sea conditions. 

Top speed with a light load at 5200 RPM is 40-42 MPH

We purchased this boat new in 1996. (Its a 1991 hull) Arima has not changed this hull over the years except for color and trim. Newer boats are trimmed in plastic instead of wood to keep the cost down. This boat has the wood trim.

We put a new Honda 75HP 4 Stroke on in 1998. This engine is barely broke in and has around 150hrs on it. This engine is a perfect match for this hull and is extremely quiet for an outboard motor. This boat gets excellent fuel economy with the Honda 75HP.

This boat has been kept in a garage and is used 3-5 times a year so it does not have much wear and tear.
